The prayer chain of Our Savior Lutheran Church strives to operate as the spiritual alarm system which communicates and takes prayerful action on the needs of the congregation, community and global concerns. This team of “prayer warriors” is committed to prayer, taking action on behalf of the congregation on Jesus’ words to "ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened," (Matthew 7:7). The prayer chain will faithfully intercede on behalf of others in need by lifting up specific requests, concerns and emergency situations.

 Options to submit a request:

Call the church office(597-4091) and leave request with Pastor or the secretary and they will forward your request via email/prayer chain website to the Prayer Chain Coordinator.

Email your prayer request to church or Pastor Schmidt.

Submit your request directly to prayer chain private website by clicking here.  (Prayer requests submitted to the website will require coordinator and/or pastor approval before it is passed on to members of the prayer chain. Coordinator will be notified immediately via email of any requests posted on the website and will check for requests throughout the day.)

When making Prayer Requests we request that prayer be specific, while respecting the dignity and privacy concerns of the individual or persons mentioned.  Please keep requests succinct and avoid extraneous details.

When you email a prayer request, please include the following information, as appropriate. 

Your name, Your email address,

Is this request for you or your immediate family?

If not, do you have the person's permission to post this request?

Should we use your name or just initials?

The details of the request or situation needing prayer.

Prayer requests may be sent to the elders with details that are left off the general prayer chain.

Prayer requests submitted to the prayer chain are kept confidential. 

Philippians 4:6-7 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
